C.G. Urso (see-gee er-so) is a writer, poet, and occasional artist. He is mostly referred to as Bear, or Bear Face (for obvious reasons). The purpose of the mask is lengthy, elaborate, and endlessly fascinating. No doubt it will be revealed in due time, but for now, he hopes you see his "face" as a warm emblem for the power of good.
Through his writings—arduously curated into the Landscape Archive—he hopes to stir in his audience a reverie for the things that echo so deeply across Time: love, loss, beauty, tragedy, horror, and courage. By this endeavor, the connections we find can aid our crossing from the Known to Unknown, where the Stars hold answers to the questions we'd never ask.
Bear Face's love for video game aesthetics stretches back many years, with a particular partiality for the PERSONA and FINAL FANTASY series, and his love for writing is inspired by the likes of Ray Bradbury, Lemony Snicket, Gerard Way, and Brandon Sanderson. Bear hopes you can find some resonating echo from the kinds of stories that reach your heart. If you have any questions or thoughts to share, he's more than happy to connect 🖤🐻
